alone and naked
on an island

I spent the last 10 days in a cabin on a remote island in Canada👇

My Grandfather bought this island in the 70’s and I’ve been coming here every summer since birth.
I recently installed Starlink and it has since become the ultimate work haven.

office setup
Every June I come up here solo for 1-2 weeks.
Since it’s early in the season there’s no one here.
I walk around naked and see a boat go by every 2 days.
In the morning I jump in the ice-cold water and swim to the middle of the channel to watch the sun come up.

During my naked morning swim I get this intrusive thought where a snapping turtle rises from the depths and bites off my pecker.
I ignore it and keep swimmin’. Just part of the process.
Anyways, 10 days solo out here is the ultimate reset.
Let me break down the process...
On the first day, you feel a bit restless and uneasy.
Unlike busy people, nature has nothing to do but take its time.
It patiently waits for you to slow down with it.
Like a meditation, you sit in your agitation and watch it pass.
Then around day 3, you start to settle in.
This is when you enter the next phase which is extreme horniness.
Starlink doesn’t help. The world’s library of erotic content is at your fingertips.
The good thing is, I’ve been down that road many times and know exactly where it ends.
I let the urge pass and watch as the horniness turns into supreme creativity.
The magic then starts.
Breakthroughs flow generously. Solutions to once-difficult problems become obvious.
Creative output increases 2-3X. The work is easy. Enjoyable. It flows.
You can do this for about 10 days straight until you start to crave human interaction.
You then return to regular life. Fresh, rested, unbothered.
Yes, I’ve been blessed to have this island in my family.
Thankfully, we’ve all been blessed with Airbnb.
Just select “Off-the-grid” and add the wifi filter.

I recommend everyone try to escape like this once a year.
Search around on Airbnb a bit to get the ideas flowing.
Then do everything possible to allow yourself to disappear for a week.
If you try it out, let me know how it goes. 😉
