What is Skool though?

Skool was created by a guy named Sam Ovens.

Sam Ovens started Consulting.com. He’s made millions teaching people how to start an online consulting business.

Sam pioneered combining courses, group calls, and online communities to solve other people’s problems at scale.

I’ve been through all his programs and used them to start my first online business.

Sam is the 🐐 and his courses changed my life.

There was only one problem with his method…

You had to string together a lot of tools to make it work.

You needed:

1. Clickfunnels for landing pages

2. Calendly for scheduling sales calls

3. Stripe for processing payments 

4. Kajabi for the online course

5. Facebook for the community

This is why, in 2022, Sam launched Skool - a software that combines everything in one place.

The thing about Sam Ovens is he’s kind of a weird guy.

He’s an obsessive business savant.

He’s an internet marketing legend but doesn’t think like a marketer.

He thinks in first principles like an engineer.

This is why Skool is such an incredible product.

In the US alone, formal education is an $850B industry that is SHRINKING at a rate of 6% per year.

E-learning (Skool) is a $250B industry that is GROWING at a rate of 20% per year.

The money that is leaving formal education is flowing into e-learning.

It’s transferring from INSTITUTIONS to individuals.

Old way: pay $200k to party for 4 years and then get a job maybe.

New way: pay $99/m to learn a hyperspecific & relevant skill, taught by someone who has already done it.

We are in the midst of a very big wealth transfer and Skool is at the epicenter.

Time to enter: Alex Hormozi.

You may know Hormozi from his books ($100M Offers, $100M Leads), or his YouTube channel with 2.5M subs.

This guy is the internet’s most prolific producer of top-tier business content.

He has amassed mad respect because his free stuff is better than everyone’s paid.

This is why, when Hormozi announced his partnership with Skool, it was HUGE news.

It was massive confirmation that Ovens was onto something big.

Once the partnership was sealed, Hormozi & Ovens got busy quick.

They announced the Skool Games - a monthly competition to build a business with Skool and win prizes.
