The concept of Entreflâneur was created this past November with my friend Sam.
We wrote out the entire EF framework on a whiteboard and made a timelapse.

I then wrote a whitepaper on the concept. You can read it here.
There's a section in the whitepaper on self-improvement.
Improving thyself is 🔑 to the Entreflâneur lifestyle.
Improvement happens when you’re on the path.
"On the path" means you’re doing what you know you should be doing.
For example…
Sticking to a morning routine
Waking up/going to bed early
Getting regular exercise & eating clean
Obvious stuff. In other words, you are getting after it.
It’s a great feeling. You feel powerful. You are an unstoppable freight train.
Hard things become easy because you have momentum.
Then, something happens and you get derailed.
→ Work or family gets in the way and you slack.
→ You travel and your sleep gets messed up.
→ You go on a bender and delete the first half of your week.
Whatever it is, getting derailed sucks big time.
Here’s a strange and extreme strategy to get derailed less:
Make derailments more painful by taking on more responsibility.
Give yourself more reasons to always be on the path. At your best.
You’ll then stay on the tracks out of necessity, not choice.
This is why entrepreneurs are so into self-improvement.
Their companies don’t grow unless they do.
They are forced to level up or die.
Annnd this is why I love business.
You get to make money while becoming a badass in the process.
See you next week. 😎

Cool things I found during my weekly internet stroll.
Drive-throughs are starting to use automated AI ordering. Still seems clunky tbh but it will get better fast and save these chains a TON of money.
MKBHD says the Human AI Pin is the worst product he’s ever reviewed and I agree.
This super trippy TED Talks promo video was made using Sora.
This Brazilian surgeon just performed the world’s first surgery using the Apple Vision Pro. This is just incredibly cool.

Agree. When you create your own tools, you make them exactly how you want and use them more.

Naval why are you so damn wise.
