REAL QUICK: I noticed a bunch of replies to this newsletter went to my junk folder. If you replied and didn't get a response, reply again pls. I set up a filter to make sure future replies go to my inbox. :)

Last week I talked about cybernetic missiles and hitting targets through course correction.
Got some good feedback including this nice message from Amanda:

Amanda, you’re great.
Got this message from Benjamin as well:

Ben’s got a point.
If all you do is “manifest”, you’ll end up like this guy.
Once the coordinates are set, you still need a plan.
This is why I now present:
My Patented 4-Step Planning & Execution Formula 💅 💅
It began 6 years ago when I consumed Sam Ovens’ Consulting Accelerator program.
The planning + execution section of that course was DOPE.
I implemented as prescribed and started my first business.
Since then I've been plannin' non-stop.
My current system is a house blend of Sam’s course + bits and pieces of things I’ve consumed over the years.
A solid planning & execution system should do 3 things:
It should help create the vision of your ideal future.
It should take that vision and “back it in” to quarterly targets → monthly projects → weekly tasks → daily tasks.
It should prompt feedback at regular intervals to help course-correct.
This is how you keep your head in the clouds and feet on the ground.
Let’s dive in…
(btw, I hosted a Zoom call walking through this process. You can watch HERE (timestamped for easy navigation).
STEP 1: Create War Plan
This is your foundational document as a person. The constitution of you.
It includes your life’s purpose, core principles, success habits, goals, and more.
This is how you decide who you want to be so someone else doesn’t decide for you.
STEP 2: Fill Out War Calendar
This is how you execute your War Plan. It’s how you “back-in” the grand vision into daily tasks.
I adapted this tool from Sam Ovens’ course.
I use it daily. Would be a lost puppy without it.
STEP 3: Plan Tomorrow Today
“PTT” for short. Planning tomorrow today is my religion.
When you don’t have a boss, your boss is you, yesterday.
When I wake up, I don’t think. I follow my marching orders.
They look like this. Fancy I know.

I cross out tasks in my Moleskin with my Sharpie 0.5 MM S-GEL pen.
The satin-soft paper accepts the ink of that pen incredibly well.
Get’s me going just thinking about it. 🥵
STEP 4: Reflect Weekly, Quarterly, & Yearly
This is how you course-correct.
Ask yourself 3 questions:
What went right?
What went wrong?
What did I learn?
Repeat the successful actions.
Cut the unsuccessful actions.
Try new things. Have fun.
That is it.
My name is Graydon Ursel.
And this is my system.
Happy executing. 🫡

Cool things I found during my weekly internet stroll.
Chat GPT-4o is insane. Most impressive demo IMO is the math tutoring one here.

The most potent business advice video I’ve ever seen.

In my planning process video, I talk about the “one thing”. This is it.

This makes me happy.
